Definitions

Application: refers to the EdTrust web and mobile applications named:

  • EdManager
  • EdParent
  • EdTeacher
  • EdStudent
  • EdScan
Mobile versions are available on Android and iOs.

Account: any type of account used to connect to one of our applications.
Geolocation data: data that identifies the user's location using latitude and longitude coordinates obtained by GPS, WIFI or mobile phone.
Personal data: refers to data that can be attributed to an identified person. This data includes surname, first name, email address, identity card number (CIN), postal address, telephone number.
Device Information: means data that may be collected automatically from any device used to access the Applications or Website. This information may include the device type, name, IP address, internet browser used, mobile network information and geolocation information.
Services: refers to the products, services, technologies, as well as the EdTrust applications and platforms to which our clients (Schools) and their clients (Parents and students) and their administrative staff members or educational (Teachers) will have access following the customer's subscription.
Sites: refers to the websites managed by EdTrust:

Information about the company and the products offered

EdTrust ("EdTrust" or "we") is a limited liability company under Tunisian law, registered in the Tunis trade and companies register under number B01235832021 (tax identification number 1733040/R/A/ M/000), having its head office at Rue el khawarizmi, archaeological site of Carthage nursery la Marsa.

EdTrust offers a suite of multiplatform tools to help them manage and digitalize the education process. These tools are dedicated to educational establishments such as primary schools, middle schools, high schools, training centers, academic support centers and any other establishments or organizations which intervene directly or indirectly in the field of education. /p>

Scope of EdTrust Terms of Use

These conditions determine the terms of use of all services offered in EdTrust applications and services. By continuing to use EdTrust applications and associated services, you accept the terms of these terms.
This document does not stand alone: users are also invited to carefully read our privacy policy, which defines how user data is processed and stored.

Document changes
These conditions came into force on the date indicated at the top of this page. This is an evolving document, which will be updated regularly.
When we make changes, we will ensure that the updated terms are available to users on our website and apps at all times.
We encourage you to check for updates and changes to these conditions by checking the date on which you access our website or our applications.
Any substantial modification will be communicated to you by email.
By continuing to use our Services after any changes to this User Agreement become effective, you agree to comply with and be bound by those changes. If you do not agree to any changes to this User Agreement, you may request termination from EdTrust.
Access to EdTrust services
Technical prerequisites

EdTrust services can be used both on the web and on all smartphones equipped with the iOS or Android operating system. The minimum version required by these operating systems can be found on our website edtrust.tn or in the corresponding app store, and may change over time.
Technical access to EdTrust services requires Internet access.

Age restrictions

Our services have no age restrictions.

Account closing

EdTrust reserves the right to remove users from its platforms and applications at any time for any reason, including violations of these Terms of Service.

EdTrust Account Management
Deleting your EdTrust account

You can request the closure and deletion of your account with EdTrust at any time by sending an email to contact@edtrust.tn

Your information at EdTrust

We store your information by default in our cloud servers hosted at AWS (Amazon Web Services) in Frankfurt, Germany.
If you prefer, we can host the database on your own servers, respecting the characteristics that we will communicate to you.
You also have the option of requesting a copy of your data from EdTrust, which will be sent to you within 7 days of receipt of your request.
We undertake to delete all copies of your data from our servers within 90 days to 12 months from the date of receipt of your account deletion request.
Please note that after 90 days from the date of receipt of your account deletion request, we no longer guarantee that we will have a copy of your data.

EdTrust Features
Services

Cross-platform tool suite:

  • EdManager: a web and mobile application dedicated to parents of students enrolled in educational establishments (The Client). The objective of this application is to provide real-time access to parents to consult and monitor information relating to their students' journey such as: school fees, courses, exercises, report cards and any other information that may be useful to help parents monitor the progress of their children. In addition, through this application, the parent can receive notifications from the administration or from EdTrust. And finally, this platform guarantees real-time chat communication between Parent - Administration and Parent - Teacher.
  • EdTeacher: a web and mobile application dedicated to teachers of the subscribing establishment, allowing them to communicate with students and their parents, share course materials and exercises, insert notes and carry out all other manipulations relating to their tasks as teachers.
    This platform can also be used by a teaching assistant allowing them to supervise the lessons and exercises published by the teacher and all other manipulations relating to their tasks as a teaching assistant.
  • EdStudent: a web and mobile application dedicated to students enrolled in educational establishments (The client).
    This application aims to integrate hybrid education, allowing students to connect with their teachers, do exercises, consult course materials, timetables, notes and all other useful manipulations for students. br> This platform can also be accessed by parents.
  • EdScan: a mobile application dedicated to school administration.
    This service allows you to retrieve information relating to a student just by scanning the QR code (Already generated by EdManager) on the student's badge. The objective of this application is to facilitate the daily tasks of administrative staff.
    Access to EdManager is required to connect to this application.

Trademarks
Trademarks, service marks and all graphics are distinctive and protected marks of EdTrust.
Privacy policy

EdTrust protects personal information in accordance with Tunisian law n°2004-63 of July 27, 2004 relating to the protection of personal data and EdTrust's policy on respect for life private.
The EdTrust Privacy Policy describes in detail how EdTrust is permitted to use and protect users' personal data.
All sensitive information is stored securely and protected from accidental disclosure.

To the extent permitted by EdTrust's Privacy Policy, and to help us provide and improve our Services, you authorize EdTrust to collect user account information and other personal information using cookies.

Information that may be shared by EdTrust

EdTrust may share the following information in connection with its services and products:

  • Identifying Information: Names, email addresses, phone numbers of users, schools, parents, teachers for easy communication and account management.
  • School data: Information related to educational establishments, study programs, timetables, activities and academic results to ensure effective school management and academic monitoring.
  • Financial data: Information relating to payments, transactions and subscriptions to process invoices and payments.
  • Usage Data: Information about the use of EdTrust services and products, such as connection history, platform interactions and user preferences, to improve our services and personalize the user experience.
  • Communication data: Content of messages, discussions and exchanges between users to facilitate communication within the platform.
EdTrust is committed to protecting the confidentiality of all information shared and to complying with applicable data protection regulations. The information shared will only be used in connection with the services provided by EdTrust and will not be disclosed to third parties without prior consent, except as necessary to comply with legal obligations or to protect the legitimate rights and interests of all parties concerned.

Information processing

We are transparent about our privacy policy and implement strict security measures to protect user information from unauthorized access or misuse.
Our goal is to ensure a positive and secure user experience throughout their use of our services.

All EdTrust employees are required to follow our personal data security policy and are trained to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of user information. We implement technical and organizational measures to prevent any unauthorized access, disclosure or use of personal data.

Personal information collected by EdTrust is used only in connection with the services we provide, and we do not share this information with third parties without users' prior consent. Our commitment to the protection of personal data aims to guarantee the trust and peace of mind of our users when using our services.

Disputes

Force majeure is an unforeseeable, inevitable and external event which may make the normal execution of our operations impossible. In the event of force majeure, EdTrust will communicate and collaborate with affected parties to devise strategies to continue our operations within the reasonable limits of the situation.

Force majeure events may include, but are not limited to:

  • Natural disasters such as floods, fires or other extreme conditions that prevent our normal operations.
  • Political or social disruptions that endanger security and limit the mobility of our staff.
  • Pandemic or national/international health crisis.
  • Technical malfunctions in telecommunications or infrastructure that affect the operation of our services.

In the event of force majeure, we may need to adjust our operational procedures to ensure continuous and secure service. We will communicate any significant changes, including those relating to personal data, clearly and promptly to the relevant parties. We will endeavor to resume normal operations as soon as reasonably possible following these events.
